For this project, BCG was brought in to design a streamlined system so an entire four room karaoke bar could be controlled by minimal staff. Using a 15” touch panel at the reception area, each room could be set up for a party with the touch of a button and a timer would shut the rooms down when the pre-paid time expired.
The venue featured six large Sharp LCD displays and an extensive house music system consisting of sixteen Niles in-ceiling speakers. The temperature in each room was scheduled and controlled via the 15” touch panel using Crestron thermostats.
A complete managed Ethernet network was built by BCG to accommodate the needs of the karaoke servers, computers, and point-of-sale system. Party goers use the in-wall Panasonic intercoms to reach staff at the front reception area and office. The Panasonic phone and intercom system allows multi-line business functionality with all the necessities of business phone system.
