It uses all the sound optimisation techniques and components collected by Mike Creek and his team of analogue electronics engineers during their many years in the Hi-Fi industry. It is designed to deliver enough power to suit a wide range of loudspeakers, including all models from Creek's sister company - Epos.

The Evolution 5350 integrated amplifier has been designed to fill the gap left by the Classic range, between the entry level Evolution 2 and the top of the range Destiny. It has borrowed technology from both the Evolution 2 and Classic 5350SE and is styled to match the EVOLUTION 2 CD Player and EVOLUTION Tuner.

Changes have been made to the amplifier to refresh the design for 2009, to match the new EVOLUTION 2 CD Player. However, there is no reason why it cannot work with the mk1 CD player also.

To achieve 80 Watts power into an 8 Ohms load and >140 Watts into 4 Ohms, the mains transformer has to be big. The Evolution 2 uses a 250VA toroidal transformer, which will provide enough current to almost double its output into 4 Ohms. To achieve high-end sound quality, no expense has been spared.
