After completing the lounge system for the previous season, Rob decided to remodel his main office. We teamed up with Microsoft to install two 50" touch screen plasma displays that sync to his computer and act as a way to extend his desktop display. We also installed numerous in-ceiling and in-wall speakers powered by an Episode amplifier. There is a lounge system with full surround sound and a conference room 60" Samsung LCD complete with audio video hook-ups on the table. The Control4 Home Automation System that you already love just got even better. Meet C4's newest addition, the Wireless Music Bridge.
The new Bridge enables you and everyone in your home, even guests, to instantly and wirelessly connect all the music on your Smarphone, tablets, and computers, to your control4 system, allowing you to enjoy any of your tunes through your home audio system. Play music from your personal digital library or seamlessly stream from your favorite music services like Spotify and Pandora. No more having to plug in your phone to a portable speaker at home or trying to enjoy a playlist through your laptop's maxed out speakers. The Bridge puts your music on the best speakers in the house, all while maintaining full use of your device, and utilizing the control systems you're already used to. And it's not even just music you'll be connecting; you'll be able to bridge podcasts, news, sports, and audio books as well. All you need is one bridge to connect your whole home, but add additional Bridges to your Control4 system, and every member of the house can have their very own wireless portal. With support for AirPlay, Bluetooth, or DNLA, the Bridge really is that versatile and easy to use, and you'll wonder how your C4 system ever lived without it. We loved this project! Mid century house. Great care was taken in making sure all audio video elements matched the house style. The client had a vintage Jenson audio box that we had redone with new driver and amplifier built in, connected it to a Sonos box and it was an awesome addition to the living room that also sounded amazing!
We used the heritage style speaker from Klipsch which matched the wood in the living room. We use the super simple RTI SURFir remote that was fully functional but without fancy LED displays and color graphics. A turntable by Musichall was added in the den and can be played throughout the entire house. We featured speakers from Definitive Technology that blended seamlessly into the wall, and matching the trim of the recessed lighting fixtures. This project also featured three additional zones of audio, with stereo summing speakers in the kitchen as well as the dining room. The outdoor area also featured surface mounted speakers from Definitive Technology. All the components were installed in a small custom rack system on casters, tucked away in the closet. |
