BCG Concepts, Inc. is honored to be included in the CE Pro 100 for the first time representing the top 100 revenue companies in the custom installation channel nationwide. Rank 100! We just made the cut but could not be more proud of our team and their efforts over the last 12 years. Happy to be on a list with the giants like Best Buy, ADT, Vivint Smart Home and also many other smaller local players that I have come to admire and learn so much from over the years.
There was no shortage of candidates for our look at some of the young people who are making a difference for their companies and this industry. See who made the cut for 2014.

After the residential downturn, Bryan aligned BCG with commercial projects, finding success with projects like high-tech business conference rooms and restaurant/bar development. Notable BCG projects include the iconic Hollywood Roosevelt, Rob Dyrdek’s Fantasy Factory, and The Buckley School’s Technology Room.
This is a custom home we recently finished with Lutron Homeworks lighting and Savant home automation. Great room doors controlled on Savant system to open entire house up to views of Los Angeles. Motorized lift from Auton in the master bedroom drops a 65" LED Samsung display from the ceiling. Theater features JVC Pro HD projection and Definitive Technology 7.1 surround sound. Nest thermostats. Shower TV's and speakers. 8 Camera security system.
New theater media room just completed with 5 Samsung TV and a 110" Da-Lite screen and JVC U.S.A. Projector. 5.2+4 Dolby Theater Atmos surround sound setup with Definitive Technology Speakers. 5 DIRECTVHD Receivers, Video Game Hook-Up and all controlled using Control4running on a Microsoft Surface Pro Tablet.
This was a recently completed project. This system featured Sonos audio integrated into a Control4 system. There were 10 video zones all operated on the Control4 system from a large centralized video switch. This distributed Time Warner Cable, DirecTV and AppleTV to all the video zones in the house. Lutron lighting and Q-Motion Shades were also integrated. A Cisco small business network was installed as the back bone for this system.
This is a spec house we just completed for a developer. Our standard smart home package includes 6 zones of in-ceiling audio, Control4 lighting control, thermostats control, a small roller rack with the house processor and amplifier and basic structured wiring all the way through for phone, data, satellite and cable.
Featured Equipment: 146" CyberTouch video wall, 55" Christie Digital Displays, Crestron Digital Media System, Klipsch Speakers, Xbox360, Nintendo Wii, JayBird Bluetooth Headphones, iPad Touch Screen Control, Elan Amplifier, Marantz Blu-Ray Player
The Buckley School called on BCG Concepts to work with them in designing a "technology room," a space where students could relax and experience the latest and greatest technology at their finger tips.
The room features a 146" CyberTouch touch screen video wall with 40 simultaneous touch points - this means 4 students with two hands each can be using the board at the same time (that's forty fingers in case you were counting :) )
There are two additional 55" Samsung LED displays used for a gaming wall that have Xbox360 Kinect and Nintendo Wii. Students can play games side by side or online against each other using the two setups.
The control, audio, and video distribution system is from Crestron Electronics. The entire space is controlled with the Apple iPad running Crestron Mobile Pro G. A 6x6 HDMI video switch from Crestron sends Blu-Ray, Mac Mini, PC, Laptop connections, and more to any of the displays in the room in any combination.
Four Klipsch speakers are installed in the ceiling using custom wood frames wrapped in acoustic fabric to match the ceiling fabric.
Featured Equipment: JBL Pro Speakers, Crown Amplifiers
When this new restaurant opened, BCG was hired to replace the older sound system. We used Harman Pro products including JBL Pro Control series speakers, Crown Amplifiers and DBX Signal Processing. Volume controls were installed behind the bar to control volume and source. The result was stunning sound and seamless integration with Public Kitchen's style and design.
